LAHORE, July 10: The Pakistan Junior Hockey team will open its campaign in the 6th Men’s Junior Asia Cup Hockey when they take on Oman in Hyderabad, India on Friday.

Team manager and Chief Coach Jehangir Butt on Thursday said that he felt optimistic about his team’s success in the match.

“We are confident of striking a win against Oman but our second match against South Korea is going be a tougher deal keeping in mind the speed and agility of our high-flying opponents.

“We will, therefore, be announcing our final line up keeping in view the strength of our rivals in the first two games, which are equally important to make a good start in the event.”

The competition concludes on July 18.—APP
