DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 1: A young man was killed over a land dispute in Faqirabad on Bannu Road on Saturday.
According to sources, Salamat Khan Wazir was going to his house along with his cousins Noor Wali and Mir Wali, when their rivals - Surat Mir, Deena Mir, Eisa Mir and Saudil Khan - attacked Salamat Khan with daggers. Salamat Khan was badly injured and died on the spot. All the four accused later fled.
BOY DROWNS: A young boy drowned in a canal in the Paharpur area here on Monday.
The deceased, Hafiz Mohammad Karim, 13, was a student at a religious madrassa. He was going along the bank of the canal when he slipped into water and drowned.
