KARACHI, July 2: Seven ships carrying containers, rock phosphate and high speed diesel are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships were berthed as under: Sea Princess, Noor-i-Medina to load cement and clinkers, Mitra Bhum, Seven Seas Aurora, Cape Colorado, to unload and load containers, Provider to offload DAP fertiliser, Sari and Winco Silvia, to unload and load general cargo.

Five vessels, Mol Ability, Harmony, Seven Seas Aurora, Swat, and Lalazar departed on Wednesday, while Cape Colorado, Noor-e-Madina, Otello Manship, Bunga Kenari and Orient-2 are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.101m tons comprising 46,508 tons of export cargo and 54,074 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Sea Spirit, with highspeed diesel,Golden Elizabeth, with lube oil, Creek, Hyundai Duke, Oel Transworld, with containers, Ocean Beauty and Sirios, with rock phosphate.
