DERA GHAZI KHAN, May 3: Tehsil Taunsa Sharif civil judge on Friday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Dera Ghazi Khan tehsil and district Nazimeen for blocking road during cotton crisis during the Nawaz government.

Reports said tehsil Nazim Asim Zubair Khosa and district Nazim Jamal Laghari along with a large number of people blocked traffic on the Indus highway. A case was registered against them under 16 MPO.

The court summoned them several times but they did not appear.

On Friday, the court issued their non-bailable arrest warrants as they failed to appear before the judge.

The court has summoned them on May 29. — Correspondent
