ISLAMABAD, June 22: Pakistan stand at Beijing Tourism Expo won first prize as the most outstanding organisation in the international category.

According to a press release issued here, the award was received by Brig (retired) Amanullah, managing director, Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), in a simple ceremony in Beijing. The three-day Beijing Tourism Exhibition ended on June 21. Over 20,000 people visited Pakistan stand including travel agents, tour operators, travel trade electronic and print media.

Pakistan stand was funded and organised by the PTDC in collaboration with Ministry of Tourism and the Press Section of Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing.
