KARACHI, June 21: Pakistan pair of Rizwan Azam and Mohammad Atiq fell in the final of the Nepal International badminton tournament’s doubles event in Kathmandu on Saturday.

According to information received, the Pakistan pair won the first set 21-19 against India’s Diwakar Akshay and Dijuv.

The Indians, however, bounced back to win the next two sets 21-9, 21-12 to clinch the title.

Indians also dominated the mixed doubles event, winning both the semi-finals against Pakistan pairs.

Dijuv / Jwala thrashed

Mohammad Atiq / Palwasha Basheer 21-10, 21-14, and Vidyadhar / Kurian Shruti trounced Rizwan Azam / Sara
