QUETTA, June 20: Balochistan Finance Minister Mir Mohammad Asim Kurd is expected to announce a Rs70 billion budget for the year 2008-09 in the provincial assembly on Saturday.

The budget is expected to carry Rs12 to 13 billion for the Public Sector Development Programme.

Sources said that it would be a deficit budget in which no new tax would be proposed. However, steps would be suggested for increasing provincial resources to provide maximum resources for bridging the deficit of the budget.
