BAHAWALPUR, June 19: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif suspended Cantonment SHO for allegedly thrashing a woman at the Circuit House on Thursday.

A woman of Sammasatta tried to approach the CM to complain against the police who failed to recover her abducted daughter. SHO Habibur Rehman thrashed the woman and picked her up from the scene. Shahbaz Sharif summoned the woman to the dais when PML workers informed him about the incident during their meeting at the Circuit House. He suspended the SHO and ordered the police to recover her daughter within 72 hours.— Correspondent
