LONDON, June 14: The chief of MQM, Altaf Hussain, has called for sending home all those judges who took oath of office under the PCOs of 2000 and 2007 and advocated the trial of the living or dead army officers who aided in the imposition of martial laws.

The MQM chief expressed these views at a ceremony marking the 30th Foundation Day of the APMSO, held here on Friday evening.

In his speech, Mr Hussain focussed on Nawaz Sharif and all those politicians who wanted the immediate ouster of President Pervez Musharraf and reinstatement of the deposed judges.

However, he reserved his bitterest attack for Mr Sharif, stopping just short of describing him as an insane politician.

He asked the former servicemen seeking the immediate ouster of President Musharraf to go to Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan and defend the country against American attacks.—Special Correspondent
