Qasim in billiards semis

KARACHI, June 6: Defending champion Qasim Kamani cruised into the last four of the KC billiards handicap tournament registering 2-0 victory over Salman Merchant at the Karachi Club premises on Thursday.

Qasim emerged 100-67, 100-78 triumphant over his opponent. He is slated to meet younger brother Asad who got the better of Ibrahim Ahmed 100-95, 100-62 in the other match.

In the two other matches, Naveen Perwani continued his winning run imposing straight 2-0 (100-88, 100-78) win over Ahmad Saleem. He now meets Uzair Dawood who accounted for Mustafa Dada 100-83, 100-97.
