KARACHI, June 6: Three ships scheduled to load/offload containers and diesel oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying containers and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships, CGM Nilgai, Lahore Express, Wales-II, Atlantic Dream, Al-Soor-II, Mari Ugland and S.D Nova, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, diesel oil and coal.

A cargo volume of 105,000 tons comprising 84,000 tons of import and 21,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Mari Ugland and Lahore Express sailed out while CMA CGM Nilgai and Al-Soor-II were due to depart.
