MIRAMSHAH, June 2: Two missiles apparently fired from Afghanistan hit a house and a mosque in Spilga village in North Waziristan tribal region on Sunday night, sources said.

They said that missiles hit the house of a tribesman, Khanadan Khan, and a mosque in the village some six kilometres east of Miramshah, the regional headquarters.

No loss of human life was reported. Local people believed that missiles were fired from Afghanistan. They said that shortly before missile attack sound of planes was heard in the area.
