SUKKUR, May 29: Twenty-five of a family, including women and children, fainted after drinking stale curd in Mushtaq Bachkani village near Pano Akil on Thursday.

They were rushed to taluka hospital, Pano Akil, where doctors provided them treatment. Doctors said the curd they had drunk might have become poisonous and caused food poisoning.

GUTTED: Twelve huts with household items and large stocks of grain were gutted completely, when fire broke out in Piyaro Mahar village near Thull on Thursday.
