LAHORE, May 22: After completing age verification process for the second time, thirty players were named to appear in the Lahore region Under-19 cricket academy starting from May 26.

First, the National Cricket Academy (NCA) had announced 30 students and 14 stand-byes for the academy. However, on conducting wrist tests around 16 players were identified as over-aged.

Later, the list of over-aged was only cut short to eight, as some players were believed to have the backing of influential individuals.

The selected players, who will attend the NCA, will form two teams – Lahore Ravi and Lahore Shalimar.

LAHORE RAVI: Hamza Mubeen, Jumma Khan, Ameer Hamid, Irfan Zaman, Mohammad Nauman, Umar Waheed, Farhan Khan, Tahzeeb Raza, Inam Javed, Abdul Ghafoor, Sagheer Ahmed, Qaiser Ashraf, Salman Afzal, Mohammad Arif, Siddiq Khan.
