Taseer meets Malik

ISLAMABAD, May 22: Governor Punjab Salman Taseer called on Adviser to Prime Minister on Interior Rahman Malik on Thursday and discussed with him the overall security situation in the country.

They also discussed law and order situation in Punjab with special reference to the fresh movement lawyers plan to launch on June 10 from Multan.

It may be mentioned that the PML-N government in Punjab has announced that it will give the protocol of a chief justice to Justice Chaudhry Iftikhar when he comes to Lahore to address the High Court Bar Association.—Staff Reporter
