Grenades found in market

SUKKUR, May 21: A possible tragedy was averted when the bomb disposal squad defused two hand grenades hidden in trash in Women Bazaar in Ghotki on Wednesday.

According to reports, sanitation staff was busy in routine work in ladies bazaar when they pounced upon two hand grenades and informed the police. Bomb disposal squad was immediately summoned from Sukkur who defused both the bombs.

Meanwhile, three alleged criminals were arrested on the Airport Road in Abad police station jurisdiction, said police. Police also recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
