ANF seizes three ton charas

FAISALABAD, May 19: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Monday seized about three tons of charas, hidden in cavities of an oil-tanker and arrested three drug pushers.

ANF sources said a team headed by an assistant director on a tip-off recovered packets of the contraband from the tanker and arrested Mastan Khan, Amjad Khan and Mir Baqir. The value of the seized drug in the international market was said to be $50 million.

WHEAT RAIDS: The Food department claimed to have seized 80,000 kilogram wheat stored illegally in three raids conducted in Tandlianwala and Jaranwala tehsils. Cases had been instituted in different police stations.
