SUKKUR, April 30: A woman aged 40 and her son aged 15 were gunned down by armed persons in Mirpur Mathelo on Tuesday.

Police claimed that both the killings were a result of Karo-kari.

According to sources one Bashir Gabol along with other accomplices entered the house of Zadan wife of Hamal Gabol, opened fire on her and her son Iqbal killing them on the spot.

The attackers fled from the scene.

Hamal Gabol, the husband of the woman, lodged an FIR against Bashir and his four accomplices.
