NOWSHERA, April 30: Pervaiz Musharraf’s leadership is the need of the time for progressive Pakistan, Ajmal Khattak, president of National Awami Party Pakistan, told newsmen here at government high school, Akora Khattak, while casting his vote.
“April 30 will prove to be a turning point and as such would open a new chapter in Pakistan’s beleaguered history,” he said.
“Referendum 2000 would put an end to obsolete politics as had been witnessed in the last decade. It would increase Musharraf’s responsibilities, thus testing his political acumen as a national leader,” he maintained.
Khattak said the ultimate responsibility on Musharraf’s shoulders is to solve the basic problems faced by a common man.
