Six soldiers released

TANK, May 15: Militants released six soldiers on Thursday, bringing to 18 the number of soldiers released by them under a prisoner swap agreement between militant leader Baitullah Mehsud and the government.

The soldiers were handed over to security forces in Shawal Fort area of South Waziristan, by Taliban’s local commander Dr Jan.

Meanwhile, a soldier was killed and another was injured in Spinka Raghda area after a roadside bomb exploded when a patrol team of soldiers passed by the area.
