NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 12: Enraged villagers allegedly subjected an octogenarian relative to torture and set his house on fire as punishment for selling off the house to a man belonging to a rival community in the Javed Punjabi village near Kandiaro on Monday.

Ms Nasreen, daughter of 80-year-old Noor Mohammad, said that her relatives were angry over her father’s sale of the house to one Illahi Bux Jamali and were issuing threats.
