ISLAMABAD, May 11: Eight matches were decided on the opening day of the qualifying round of President PSF International Squash Championship which started at the Jansher Khan Squash Complex, Abbottabad on Sunday.

Aqib Hanif defeated Zahir Shah 11-9, 11-5, 11-9.

Hussain Jafferi (Iran) and Tariq Manzoor (UAE), were ousted in the qualifying round, losing to local players Ejaz Tahkli and Waseem Shad, respectively.
