LAHORE, May 11: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has regularised 954 contractual employees of different cadres from the date of joining service with an immediate effect.

Those regularised include 60 from Lesco headquarters, 113 GSO circle, 90 central circle, 69 northern circle, 54 south circle, 160 Okara circle, 128 Kasur circle, 57 eastern circle, 9 GSC circle and 214 from construction circle.

The employees regularised under an agreement between the Lesco administration and Pakistan Wapda Hydro-Electric Central Labour Union are line superintendents and assistant line superintendents, SSOs, cashiers, commercial assistants, meter readers, ASSAs, drivers, junior clerks and bill distributors.
