Teacher, student hurt in attack

KARACHI, April 27: A teacher and a student of a seminary were wounded late Saturday night in an attack in Block-15 of the Gulistan-i-Jauhar.

Two motorcyclists came to Baba Hotel, where Qari Khawaja Mohammad, 27, and Mohammad Gul, 25, of Madressah Jam-i-Darul Khair, were having tea around 11.40pm, sources said. The pillion rider opened fire on them and fled, they said.

The wounded were shifted to the JPMC, where both victims were stated to be in stable condition. The police mounted a hunt to apprehend the attackers but failed in their efforts till the filing of this report.
