Published May 6, 2008

ISLAMABAD, May 5: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recovered an amount of Rs3.33 billion under plea bargain and voluntarily return deals during 2007, a spokesman for the bureau said here on Monday.

Clarifying a news story published in Dawn on April 27 with a title “NAB report silent on recovery, NRO”, the spokesman said the bureau was not silent on the recovery and that it was not necessary in the annual report to mention total recovery during last eight years.—Staff Reporter
