LARKANA, May 5: Impartial inquiry into the incident of this April 9 and last year’s October 18 will be conducted and those found responsible whether belonging to any party will be face the law, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday.

Answering journalists’ queries at Moenjodaro and Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on the nomination of PPPP candidate for NA-207 (Larkana-IV), he said within a couple of days, the Pakistan People’s Party would decide about the candidate.

Dispelling the impression that a rift had developed within the party over nomination on NA-207, he said Asif Zardari was leading the party very well and making good decisions. He said NA-207 was an important seat because Benazir Bhutto had fought from it.

When asked why PPP being the sole majority party in Sindh had given 13 ministries to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, he said we did it only as a step of reconciliation as PPP adopted this method in other provinces and the centre and was doing the same in Sindh also.

Responding to another question he said the Sindh government was taking measures to address the issue of wheat flour shortage for the relief of people. He said things would improve within days.

He said the PPP government will implement the party manifesto and mission of Benazir Bhutto at all costs. He said all appointments made during the tenure of caretakers had been cancelled and said 40 thousand jobs will be provided on poverty-cum-merit basis from grade 1 to 9.

The chief minister met party workers and presided over a meeting at the Circuit House Larkana regarding law and order situation.

He visited the house of Hamid Ali Bhurgary General Secretary District Bar Association Larkana and offered condolence and Fateha over the death of his sister in law.
