KARACHI, May 5: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers, diesel oil and acetic acid were accommodated berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, another ships to load cement also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Ten ships, Federica, Lucien, Cap Akritas, Leopard-B, Nova Noor, H.S Acacia, Aktin, Al-Soor-II, Chemstar Hero and Venus, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, seeds, palm oil, diesel oil, chemicals and coke.

A cargo volume of 92,355 tons comprising 81,774 tons of import and 10,581 tons of export tonnage was handled. Cap Akritas, Federica Lucien, Qem Star and Chemstar Hero sailed out.
