LAHORE, May 3: A civil court has issued a notice to fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar to appear before the court to give a reply at a defamation case filed against him by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf.
Tafazzul Hyder Rizvi, the counsel for Dr Nasim Ashraf, on Saturday was to argue before the court but neither Shoaib nor his counsel appeared before the court and hence, civil Judge Hina Muzaffar adjourned the case till May 16.—APP
