NAWABSHAH, May 3: A one day workshop on electronic system design organised by Department of Electronic Engineering was held at Seminar Hall of central library in Quaid-i-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology Nawabshah on Saturday.

Students of various batches read their papers on modern trends in telecommunication, control engineering and industrial automation and other technologies.

Prof (Dr) Wahid Bux Soomro, vice-chancellor, in his address said that the workshop would create awareness among undergraduate engineers of electronics, electrical and computer system engineers about modern trends and techniques of today’s fast growing technical market.

He said that the event would also transfer knowledge about research and development in the industries and the academic institutions.

Professor Dr A.B. Soomro, the dean faculty of engineering said that the workshop would help basic access to software and hardware approach and would also present ideas about the final year thesis and projects.
