MUZAFFARGARH, May 1: Robbers snatched a pickup van owned by PML-N district chapter general-secretary Ghulam Musatfa Khar Junior from his driver while the chief minister has directed the police to trace the vehicle within 36 hours.

Mustafa Khar Junior also contested the Feb 18 elections for PP-254 on the PML-N ticket.

MAY DAY DEATH: A labourer died after being trapped under wheat bags which fell over at a flourmill here on Thursday.

Ghulam Muhammad, a resident of Vehari, was stockpiling at Kamran Flourmills on Thursday when three gunny bags full of wheat fell over, burying him underneath and by the time he could have been rescued by his companions, he had expired. — Correspondent
