DERA ISMAIL KHAN, April 29: Eleven people were killed and seven others injured when a bus fell into a ravine in South Waziristan on Tuesday.

Officials said the bus skidded off the road at a sharp turn near Anjeer on the Makeen-Wana road.

The injured were taken to the Agency Headquarters Hospital in Miramshah in North Waziristan and doctors said that some of them were in a critical condition.

In another accident, two men were killed and two others injured when two trucks collided on the Indus Highway.

The deceased were identified as Sardar Khan of Dera Ghazi Khan and Mohammad Arif of Larkana. The injured were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.
