SHIKARPUR, April 28: A woman has been killed by her husband on the pretext of karo-kari.Hurmat Khatoon was shot dead on Monday by her husband Zameer Ahmed Jatoi with a Kalashnikov in Mehrab Qaderani Jatoi village in the jurisdiction of Abad Malani police station.
No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.
Meanwhile, four Karachi-bound coaches coming from Peshawar have been looted while 12 passengers, including a woman injured upon failing to stop.
Armed men fired on the coaches near Peer Zubair on Shikarpur Road in the jurisdiction of Lakhi police station in early hours on Monday.—BoC
