SUKKUR: Young man shot dead

SUKKUR, April 28: Armed men shot dead a villager in Samoon Chachar village within the jurisdiction of Saduja police station near Pano Akil on Monday.

A group of armed men entered into the village, broke into the house of Shah Mohammad Chachar and shot dead his son Nabi Bux Chachar.

Police shifted the body to taluka hospital Pano Akil and later handed it over to the relatives after post-mortem. No case was registered till the filing of this report.

Meanwhile 16 people, including a woman, were injured when a group of armed bandits opened fire upon two passenger buses on the National Highway near Wazirabad Laro in the jurisdiction of Lakhi Ghulam Shah police station on Sunday night.

They were shifted to a local hospital. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
