5 Indian showbiz persons die

NEW DELHI, April 25: A top Indian music TV host, an upcoming film maker and three of their young friends were killed on Wednesday when a speeding truck ploughed into their car.

The news of the death of 20-year old Puja Mukherji, who hosted a programme on Channel V music network , film-maker 25-year old Nishit Saran and their three friends came as a devastating blow to family and friends, it said.

Police said the truck driver had fled his vehicle after the accident and they were trying to locate him.—AFP
