LARKANA, April 25: Contractual employees having completed three years of service will be regularised and unemployed educated youth to be preferred in recruitment, said District Nazim Nawabshaha Dr Faryal Talpur.

To serve ailing humanity was itself a worship she said while administering oath to the newly elected boy of Paramedics Association in Chandka Medical College on Thursday.

Calling paramedics the key component of health system she urged doctors to concentrate on duties in hospitals instead on running private clinics. She said the Sindh government had notified 10-year relaxation in age for new appointments in different departments.

Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro said the salaries of paramedics and doctors will be brought at par with other provinces.

He said the soil of Sindh had produced heroes like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and we were here to follow their guidelines in serving people and accomplishing mission. It was our duty to love people of the land and mitigate their problems without discrimination. He said he appreciated paramedics for continuously supporting the PPP since long.

Sindh Law Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, Principal Chandka Medical College and Medical Superintendent of CMC Hospital Dr Syed Mehboob Ali Shah also spoke on the occasion.

President Paramedics Association Hakim Ali Tunio welcomed the guests.
