HYDERABAD, April 25: Bodies of six friends who died in a road accident on Super Highway near Kathore bridge arrived here on Friday.

All of them lost their lives when their rented car dashed into a dumper near the bridge on the highway.

They were going to Karachi to attend valima ceremony of their friend.

They were laid to rest in Tando Yusuf graveyard amidst tears.

The deceased were identified as Khalid, 25, son of Moeenuddin Shah; Asif, 23, son of Abdul Majeed Sheikh; Waseem, 29, son of Abdul Nabi Sheikh; Jamshed, 24, son of Abdul Aziz; Majid Ali, 18, son of Farooq Rathore; and Waseem Memon 35.

Khalid, Asif and Waseem were residents of Punjabi Mohallah, Faqir Ka Pir while Jamshed was resident of Effendi town, Majid of Guru Nagar and Waseem was residing in a plaza near Memon hospital.

Jamshed and Khalid were cable operators while others were either labourers or dealing in chillies business. All of them were bachelors except for Waseem.

FAINTED: Around 10 members of a family fainted in American Quarters after consuming some poisonous food.

They were brought to the Civil Hospital Hyderabad. They were complaining of vomiting.

Their condition is stated to be out of danger.
