ST KITTS, April 23: Pakistan will play the West Indies in the International Under-15 Cricket Championship final here on Thursday.

Earlier in the semi-final, Pakistan were strolling to victory over Bangladesh at 99 for 1 chasing 131, but from there they crashed to 120 for 8, Zazeef Ahmed grabbing 5 for 23, before their ninth-wicket pair steered the team to victory.

Batting first, Bangladesh made 131 all out with Ratnak Saha (46) and Rakin Ahmed (28) being the chief scorers.

Syed Kumail Abbas (3-34), Waqar Khan (2-8) and Zafar Gohar (2-23) bowled well.

In reply, Pakistan reached the required target for the loss of eight wickets. Mohammed Naeem (52) and Ahsan Ali (44) performed well with the willow.

In the other semi-final, the West Indies easily beat an ICC Americas XI.

The hosts restricted ICC Americas to 166 in their 50 overs, with John Campbell doing most of the damage with 6 for

43 after they had seemed on course for a much higher total due to the fine efforts of Abhijit Joshi (50) and Nitish Kumar (39).

Kraigg Brathwaite was again amongst runs for the West Indies. He followed his century against Malaysia with 65 not out, and with Raymond Senior making an unbeaten 68, the West Indies cruised to an eight-wicket win with 23 overs to spare.
