LAHORE, April 23: The Punjab government on Wednesday transferred and posted some more administrative secretaries and district coordination officers.

Secretary and Chief Administrator for Auqaf Raees Abbas Zaidi was transferred and directed to report to the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD). He was replaced by Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Tariq Ayub.

OSD Mirza Sohail Ahmad was posted cooperative secretary vice Capt Khalid Pervaiz (retired) who was directed to report to the S&GAD. OSD Tahir Shahbaz was posted industries secretary vice Syed Khalid Akhlaq Gilani, already transferred. OSD Khalid Masood Chaudhry was posted Punjab Seed Corporation managing director.

Punjab Employees Social Security Institution Commissioner Capt Tariq Masood (retired) was transferred and asked to report to the S&GAD. Additional Home Secretary Mian Wahiduddin was transferred and posted managing director of the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab, relieving TDCP General Manager (Finance) Shahzad Raza Syed of the additional charge.

S&GAD Additional Secretary Abdul Jabbar Shaheen was transferred and posted Kasur DCO, relieving EDOR Muhammad Amir Khan of the additional charge. Salman Naqi, deputy programme director of the Punjab Resource Management Programme’s Programme Management Unit, was transferred and posted Lodhran DCO, relieving Lodhran EDOR Waqar Ahmad Khan of the additional charge.

Rawalpindi EDO for Finance and Planning Capt Saqib Zafar (retired) was transferred and posted Attock DCO vice Abdur Razzaq Malik who was asked to report to the S&GAD. Public Prosecution Department Additional Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry was transferred and posted commissioner of the Punjab Employees Social Security Institution. Disaster Relief Management Society General Manager Ibrar Ahmad Mirza was transferred and posted Hafizabad DCO vice Muhammad Qayyum who was asked to report to the S&GAD.

LDA Director Javaid Iqbal was transferred and posted Layyah DCO vice Mehmood Akhtar who was asked to report to the S&GAD. Rawalpindi DO for Planning Noreen Bashir was transferred and posted Rawalpindi EDO for Finance and Planning. OSD Dr Muhammad Saleh Tahir was posted additional health secretary. Additional Education Secretary Amjad Saleemi was transferred and made OSD. Deputy Education Secretary Muhammad Anis was also made OSD.—Staff Reporter
