One killed in accident

ISLAMABAD, April 20: A pedestrian was killed and another suffered multiple injuries when a speeding vehicle hit them on Saturday, police said.

Mohammad Arshad and Mohammad Bilal were crossing the road in Rawat when the incident occurred.

The injured were taken to a nearby hospital where Arshad was pronounced dead. The condition of Bilal was stated to be critical.

The police impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver.
