HYDERABAD, April 19: Hesco has postponed written test for the posts of assistant lineman and assistant sub-station attendant till the further orders due to a ban imposed by the federal government on new appointments.

Hesco administration and human resources director Sohail Ahmed Khatian announced here on Saturday that due to the ban the written tests scheduled to be held for Nawabshah circle on April 20, Hyderabad circle-I and II on April 27, and for Larkana Circle on May 4, had been postponed till further orders.

Meanwhile, Mr Khatian has directed all the officers and employees of the company to attend their work regularly and provide service to the consumers with a smiling face.

He warned that if anyone was found absent from duty at the headquarters or in field offices, strict action will be taken against them.

He directed that committees should be constituted in all the areas which should hold weekly meetings regularly to resolve the problems of the consumers.

He advised the people not to tie their animals under the transmission lines and avoid encroachment on the company’s land.

He announced that helpline-118 had been established in all the sub-divisional offices where the consumers could lodge their complaints.—Bureau
