Two held with explosives

QUETTA, April 19: The Nasirabad police arrested two suspected terrorists and recovered high explosives from their possession on Saturday.

According to sources, police took two persons into custody from the Rabi Canal area of Dera Murad Jamali who allegedly wanted to plant landmines in the area.

“We recovered 1.6kg of high explosives being used for destroying national installations,” police said, adding the arrested men were identified as Lacho and Sultan.

They claimed that they were allegedly involved in many subversive acts.

The suspects were handed over to the authorities concerned for further interrogations.
