KARACHI: Demolition finalized

KARACHI, April 19: Owners of 53 houses in Shah Faisal Colony, affected by the under-construction Malir River bridge, will start vacating their places within a week in the city’s larger interest for which all legal formalities have been completed.

This was stated by City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal while briefing newsmen about the Rs1.25 billion worth Malir River bridge project late Friday night. The nazim added that the affected people would be served notices within a week to vacate the premises. —APP
