Imran Raza has been working with PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif since his arrival in Pakistan in his private capacity. He had also served as deputy secretary with Shahbaz when he was the chief minister.
Labour Department Additional Secretary Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh was transferred and posted as Health Department additional secretary vice Muhammad Khan Khichi, already transferred.
Mr Sheikh was also relieved of the additional charge of the post of the Punjab Province Workers Welfare Board secretary.
Finance Department Additional Secretary Humayun Mazhar was transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.
Home Department’s Public Safety Commission Additional Secretary Muhammad Amir Khattak was transferred and posted as Irrigation Department additional secretary.
Meanwhile, Tevta has sent three officials to their parent departments. They include General Manager Finance and Accounts Khwaja Adnan Zaheer (Accounts Group of Pakistan), Deputy Director Monitoring Dr Usman Ali (Customs Group of Pakistan) and Deputy Director Protocol Irfan Chaudhry (Surplus Pool of the S&GAD).
It is learnt that the Public Prosecution Department has decided to sack all those officials who were recruited on a contract basis through directives or without following the procedure and without waiting for fresh recruitment against their posts by the Punjab Public Service Commission.
This was against an earlier decision to allow them working till the fresh recruitments by the service commission.
