Food secy among others transferred

LAHORE, April 17: The Punjab government on Thursday transferred and posted some senior officials, including the secretary (food).

Secretary (food) Seerat Asghar was transferred and sent to the federal government on his own request. He was replaced by New Murree Development Authority director-general Capt Iftikhar Ahmad (retired).

The additional charge of the post of the Murree project director-general was given to secretary (tourism) Khusro Pervaiz Khan.

Rajanpur DCO Qaiser Saleem was transferred and made an OSD. Chief Minister Secretariat protocol officer Yawar Mehdi was also transferred and made an OSD.

OSD Waqasul Hasan was posted as Chief Minister Secretariat deputy secretary.

Education department additional secretary Maqsood Mumtaz was given additional charge of the post of the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education chairman.—Staff Reporter
