KUALA LUMPUR, April 23: The individual event of Asian Squash Championship will be played at the National Squash Centre in Malaysian capital from May 1-4.

In the seedings and draw made here, Malaysian number one Ong Beng Hee was given the top billing and is tipped to meet the third seeded Pakistani Shahid Zaman in the semifinals.

Malaysian national number two Mohamed Azlan Iskandar, seeded fourth in the competition, is drawn to play against second seed Mansoor Zaman also of Pakistan for a place in the final. The top four seeds get first-round byes.

Two other Malaysians, Kenneth Low and Kelvin Ho, were seeded fifth and 11th respectively.

The seedings and draw for the team event, scheduled for May 6-8, will be made on May 2.
