QUETTA, April 15: Syed Khurshid Shah and Ejaz Jhakrani of the Pakistan People’s Party are arriving in the provincial capital on Wednesday to finalise the names for the Balochistan cabinet, it is learnt.

Sources said that the new cabinet is expected to take oath on Thursday.

Despite unopposed elections of chief minister, speaker and deputy speaker of the Balochistan assembly the coalition parties have not finalised the names for the cabinet posts yet.

The sources said Mr Shah and Mr Jhakrani had been nominated by PPP’s co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari for holding talks with coalition partners for the formation of PPP-led government in the province.—Staff Correspondent
