KARACHI, April 15: Three vessels carrying containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where five ships, Chemstar Brave to unload chemicals, Bravo-P to load clinkers, Bulk Arrow to load cement, Bunga Terasek and Sinar Bintan to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of eight.

The departing ships were led by Johar, Chemstar Brave, Hong Ze Hu, Marial, Al-Rahalah-1, Oel Spirit, Lucky Arrow and Gentle, while Loa Bunga Terasek, Sinar Bintan and Manisamut Naree are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.127m tons comprising 29,922 tons of export cargo including 2,181 tons of cement and 1,124 tons of sugar and 97,208 tons of import tonnage was handled.The following ships are due on Wednesday: Kapitan Byankin, Hyundai Future and Asmars with containers.
