PIA clinch soccer events

KARACHI, April 14: The PIA soccer team have staged tremendous comeback at the national circuit by winning back-to-back All-Pakistan tournaments.

They first won All-Pakistan NBP tournament in Karachi and then the ninth All-Pakistan Shaheed Umid Ali Wapda Cup in Hyderabad.

PIA Managing Director Aslam R. Khan has congratulated the team for showing outstanding performance.

He also lauded the efforts of manager Tariq Lutfi and coach Mohammad Shamim Khan for reviving the past glory of the team.—Agencies
