New CM takes oath today

LAHORE: PML-N nominee Dost Mohammad Khosa was elected unopposed chief minister of Punjab when no other nomination papers were filed against him.

Meanwhile, leaders of the ruling coalition in Punjab — PPP, PML-N, PML-F and MMA — have decided not to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Dost Mohammad Khosa at the Governor’s House on Saturday, reports APP.

This was announced by PML-N Punjab president Zulfiqar Khosa, father of the CM-elect, at a dinner hosted here on Friday for the newly elected speaker and deputy speaker.

He said the chief minister would go to the Governor’s House alone to take the oath.
