HAFIZABAD, April 11: The two killers, who shot dead the PML-N’s city secretary-general and his private secretary, were later done to death in a shootout with the police here on Friday.

Reports said that Tanveer Ahmad Chadhar advocate and his private secretary Abdul Jabbar had a property dispute with Saleem Butt. On Friday, they went to the house of the accused to settle their issue. As the arguments heated up, accomplices of Saleem Butt fired at Tanveer and Jabbar. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital where they died. The attackers later escaped from the scene.

Some three hours after the incident, the police traced the whereabouts of the culprits. Seeing police, the culprits opened fire on them which was returned. After a brief shootout, both the culprits were bumped up.
